**Responsibilities:** - Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance management - Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations and industry standards - Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans - Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care - Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care, making recommendations for improvement as needed - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those set forth by CMS and state licensing agencies - Manage departmental budget and resources effectively - Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth
**Qualifications:** - Degree in Nursing required; - Current RN license in the state of North Carolina - Minimum of 2-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role - Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in nursing care for elderly populations - Excellent leadership and management abilities - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Understanding of long-term care regulations and quality improvement initiatives
