HR Generalist- Calabasas CA -
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, ensuring alignment with legal standards and company goals.
  • Maintain and update company policies, ensuring alignment with company standards, legal standards, and company goals.
  • Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations and implement necessary updates within the organization.
  • Manage records related to employment, benefits, and compliance audits.
  • In charge of administration, benefits, employe relations, safety & wellness, HR metrics & reporting
  • Performance management, organizational development, HR technology & systems, training and development of employees
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, legal or related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a generalist role within HR.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO).
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and organizational policies.
  • Proficiency in HR software, including HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience in the military or law enforcement
