HR Generalist- Calabasas CA -
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
Maintain and update employee handbooks, ensuring alignment with legal standards and company goals.
Maintain and update company policies, ensuring alignment with company standards, legal standards, and company goals.
Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations and implement necessary updates within the organization.
Manage records related to employment, benefits, and compliance audits.
In charge of administration, benefits, employe relations, safety & wellness, HR metrics & reporting
Performance management, organizational development, HR technology & systems, training and development of employees
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, legal or related field.
3-5 years of experience in a generalist role within HR.
Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO).
Strong understanding of HR best practices and organizational policies.
Proficiency in HR software, including HRIS and ATS platforms.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Prior experience in the military or law enforcement
