Job Summary:
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Admissions Coordinator (Director). Responsible for managing the admissions process. Will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate a smooth transition into our care facility.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the admissions process, including pre-admission assessments, documentation review, and financial arrangements
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gather necessary medical information and ensure accurate patient assessments
- Educate patients and families about available services and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Coordinate with insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of care for new admissions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in admissions management within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, and budgeting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
