Executive Director

We are hiring for an Executive Director in the home health Industry. This home health company has been in business for 13 years and is very successful and growing, with a current census of 200+.  Your responsible for the overall administration, strategic planning, and operations of the agency, ensuring compliance, quality care, and financial stability, while also managing staff and fostering a positive work environment. 
Operational Management:
  • Planning and Directing:
Overseeing the daily operations of the home health agency, including patient care, staffing, and financial matters. 
  • Strategic Planning:
Developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure the agency's growth and success. 
  • Policy and Procedure Development:
Creating and maintaining agency policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. 
  • Budget Management:
Developing and monitoring the agency's budget, ensuring financial stability and responsible spending. 
  • Quality Improvement:
Implementing and overseeing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. 
  • Compliance:
Ensuring the agency complies with all applicable state and federal regulations. 
  • Client Relations:
Overseeing interactions with clients and their families, ensuring a positive experience. 
Staff Management:
  • Hiring and Training: Hiring, training, and supervising staff, including clinical and administrative personnel. 
  • Performance Management: Conducting performance evaluations, providing coaching and mentoring, and addressing performance issues. 
  • Staff Retention: Implementing strategies to improve staff morale and retention. 
  • Staff Scheduling: Ensuring adequate staffing levels and managing staff schedules. 
  • Staff Development: Providing opportunities for staff training and professional development. 
Financial Management:
  • Budget Development and Monitoring:
Developing and monitoring the agency's budget, ensuring financial stability and responsible spending.
  • Revenue Generation:
Implementing strategies to increase revenue and ensure the agency's financial viability.
  • Cost Control:
Implementing measures to control costs and improve efficiency.
  • Financial Reporting:
Preparing and presenting financial reports to the board of directors or other stakeholders. 
Other Responsibilities:
  • Community Relations: Building relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and other stakeholders. 
  • Fundraising (if applicable): Participating in fundraising activities to support the agency's mission. 
  • Board Relations: Working with the board of directors to ensure the agency's mission and goals are being met. 
  • Advocacy: Advocating for the agency's interests and the needs of its clients.
