Maintenance Tech
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of facilities and equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, encompassing tasks like plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
· Performing regular checks, inspections, and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery.
· Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues promptly.
· Maintaining and repairing building systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems.
· Maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools used in the facility.
· Ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to meet safety standards and regulations.
· Maintaining an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
· Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
· Working with other team members, contractors, and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
· Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensuring minimal downtime.
· Installing new equipment or machinery as needed.
· Identifying and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
· Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients regarding maintenance issues and progress
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Proven experience in property maintenance or related field.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
