Regional Property Manager – Rochester, MN
- Manage portfolio of affordable housing communities.
- Supervise Property Managers to ensure operational excellence, team accountability, training, and compliance.
- Lead hiring, onboarding and performance management.
- Clear understanding of federal, state, and local landlord/tenant laws.
- Advanced knowledge of Yardi and Rent Café.
- Oversee rent collection processes.
- Provide accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and budgets.
- Develop and execute creative and competitive marketing and leasing strategies.
- Partner with vendors and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality upkeep, repairs, and future project planning.
- Proactively address escalated resident concerns with urgency and professionalism.
- Work closely with corporate departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Minimum of 5 years in property management or 2 years of successful experience as a Senior Area Manager
- Experience managing multiple properties and leading during periods of staffing absence.
- Expertise in LIHTC, HOME, Section 8 and other affordable housing programs.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent, preferred: 2- or 4-year degree in business, real estate, or a related field.
- COS and TCS required; ability to obtain additional certifications within 6 months. ARM, RAM, or MN Real Estate License a plus.
- Previous involvement with the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license & insurance; travel required between sites.
