About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Leave Coordinator to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, multi-state environment and has strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other federal and state leave laws.

The Leave Coordinator will manage a large monthly caseload of employee leave requests and ensure timely, compliant handling across multiple states. You’ll serve as a critical point of contact for employees and managers, providing expert guidance through the leave process while upholding all legal and policy standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage 50–60+ leave of absence claims per month, including FMLA, ADA, personal, medical, and other statutory leaves
• Coordinate leaves across multiple states, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Determine eligibility and handle leave documentation and tracking from start to finish
• Communicate with employees, HR partners, managers, and third-party vendors as needed
• Monitor leave timelines, send required notices, and coordinate return-to-work and ADA accommodations
• Maintain accurate and confidential records and ensure audit-ready documentation
• Stay up to date on changes in federal and state leave legislation

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in leave administration, human resources, or benefits coordination
• Proven experience managing high-volume leave caseloads
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave regulations
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
