Leasing Consultant – Albany, NY
- Actively seeking potential tenants through various marketing channels
- Showing available units to prospective tenants
- Reviewing rental applications, performing credit checks, and verifying references
- Discussing lease terms with prospective tenants, including rent price, move-in dates and finalizing lease agreements
- Processing lease paperwork, collecting security deposits, and managing move-in procedures
- Maintaining positive relationships with current tenants, addressing concerns promptly, and facilitating lease renewals
- Providing excellent customer service to both potential and current tenants, answering inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Keeping accurate records of leasing activity, including lead generation, showing appointments, lease signings, and providing reports to management.
- Staying updated on local rental laws and regulations, ensuring all leasing practices adhere to legal requirements.
- Experience with LIHTC/HUD strongly preferred
