About the Role
We are seeking an experienced In-House Recruiter to support hiring efforts across our group of nursing homes in the Kansas City area. This position plays a key role in ensuring we attract, engage, and hire qualified healthcare professionals who will uphold our commitment to excellent resident care. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of healthcare recruiting and a passion for building high-performing clinical and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for clinical and non-clinical roles within multiple nursing home locations.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract RNs, LPNs, CNAs, administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job postings, cold outreach, referrals, and networking.
Screen résumés, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate on-site interviews with hiring managers.
Partner closely with facility leadership to understand staffing needs and provide regular hiring updates.
Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure compliance with all hiring policies and regulations.
Represent the organization at hiring events, job fairs, and community partnerships.
Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Qualifications
Prior recruiting experience in healthcare required (skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living strongly preferred).
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple open roles with shifting priorities.
Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools.
Highly organized, proactive, and committed to delivering a positive candidate experience.
