Outside Sales Rep.- Healthcare/Home Care Industry

Business Development Employee is needed in the "home health/home care industry" with a reputable & established company., located in the Alameda CA area. You will be responsible for sales and marketing for the home care industry, developing and implementing strategies, and ensuring the organization achieves its sales goals. This role involves a mix of strategic planning and direct business development activities in the community.

You must have connections, referral sources/book of business in Alameda County to be considered (Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore and Union City areas).

Home Care company is established and reputable in Alameda County.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans, to sell home care services to patients & their families, hospitals, physicians, care facilities that need home care, caregiving services for either themselves or the physician and facility patients. Set sales targets, and analyze market trends to identify opportunities and overcome obstacles.

· Lead Generation and Management:

Identify and nurture referral source healthcare companies and connections, develop and implement strategies, and ensure timely follow-up with leads.

· Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients/patients, referral sources, and other stakeholders.

· Sales Performance:

Track and analyze your marketing performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

· Community Outreach:

Participate in community events, develop partnerships with local healthcare organizations, and promote the organization's home care caregiving services to the community.

· Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present regular marketing reports, track progress against sales targets, and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.

· Compliance and Ethics:

Adheres to ethical guidelines and complies with relevant regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Sales/Marketing Experience: Preferably have experience in marketing/sales, ideally within the home care or healthcare industry.
  • Book of BusinessYou must have healthcare connections in Alameda County to be considered (Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore and Union City areas)
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with home care services, home health or hospice referral networks, and the healthcare landscape and community in Alameda County CA.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Experience: Experience using CRM software and tools.
  • Education- Associates Degree or, Bachelor Degree preferred in Marketing or Communications, or Healthcare.
  • You must have connections and referral sources "book of business " in healthcare, preferably home care in Alameda County.

Salary

$60,000- $85,000 base pay depending on experience

Commissions: Generous commission plan to be discussed during interview process.
