Community Manager – Baltimore, MD
  • Oversee all site operations, including team leadership, tenant relations, leasing, and property maintenance.
  • Executes or audits the complex processes required to maintain 100% compliance with Project-Based Section 8 contracts, preventing regulatory failures that could jeopardize HUD housing assistance payments.
  • Collect rents, process invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and develop the
  • Supervise, train, and schedule on-site personnel, including leasing agents and maintenance technicians.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely work order resolution, complete turnarounds on vacant units, and maintain exterior curb appeal.
  • Field tenant complaints, coordinate educational or social resident events, enforce lease terms, and execute legal eviction notices when necessary.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an on-site property manager specifically within Project-Based Section 8 or hybrid HUD/LIHTC communities.
  • Hands-on experience with property management platforms featuring built-in affordable compliance modules.
