We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead the operations of our skilled nursing facility in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic healthcare leader who is passionate about providing exceptional resident care, building strong teams, and driving operational excellence.

The Nursing Home Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining financial performance, and fostering a culture focused on quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide leadership and support to department managers and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Promote a culture of resident-centered care, quality, and customer service.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and census development initiatives.
  • Monitor clinical, operational, and quality metrics to achieve organizational goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, referral sources, physicians, and community partners.
  • Ensure readiness for surveys and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to implement strategic initiatives and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Current Florida Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Nursing Home Administrator experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
  • Proven track record of successful facility operations, regulatory compliance, and census growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve financial objectives.
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) leadership experience.
  • Experience improving quality measures and survey outcomes.
  • Multi-department operational oversight.
